Conscious Party Food Ideas Sure To Please Any Crowd

With the holiday season in full swing, I’m very conscious of all of the heavy party foods I love and have a hard time eating in moderation…!! They seem to be everywhere I look!!

And though they are delicious, often times I feel so heavy and just ugh.. afterwards, you know what I mean? So this year, as friends stop by and I entertain more, I have been trying different, more conscious versions of our favorites and have been pleasantly surprised to find just how delicious eating clean is, again!!

I know I always say this after I have fallen off the path, but eating clean is oh sooo good! I may add in a few naughty ingredients (like cheese, we love us lots of cheese), but hey, balance is everything, right?! Thanks to my Arbonne 28 Day Clean Eating Challenge, I am back strong on the path of clean eating, good decision making and lots of smiling and I know you can be to!

Check out these mouthwatering conscious party food ideas that will make any crowd come back for more!

Conscious Party Food Ideas Sure To Please Any Crowd

Sweet Potato Skin Bites – super yummy alteration to the ever popular potato skins. Simply bake your sweet potato, cut in half the long ways, scoop some of the sweet potato out, the cut the two halves width wise 2x each to make 6 pieces depending on size, use your best judgement. Sprinkle lightly with chili powder, cumin and cheese. Roast a few minutes until melted the remove and top with sour cream and scallions/green onion. Healthy, conscious and packed with flavor!!

Buffalo Cauliflower with Blue Cheese Dip – easy and flavorful. Wash and cut the cauliflower. Put on a foil lined cookie sheet. Drizzle with oil, salt and this recipe from ACoupleOfCooks.com for a homemade buffalo sauce and a yummy healthy blue cheese dip. Even my kids love this one and is a great way to get Cauliflower into everyone!

Stuffed Dates – shockingly good! I’ve always like the sweet taste of dates, but never had them much growing up. Goat cheese, however has always been a favorite. So when I read about this recipe, I had to try. Take your dates, cut a line and open them up. Add goat cheese and sprinkle to top with crumbled pistachios. Quick and easy to make and so good it will taste like heaven in your mouth. The balance between salty and sweet is intense, add in the crunch of the pistachio… wow!

Spinach and Artichoke Dip – always a crowd pleaser. Simply switch the mayonnaise to veganaise. The flavor remains the same and it actually transforms into a (semi… don’t mind the cheese ?) healthier version. Serve with organic blue corn chips and you will for sure see some smiles!

Guacamole, Homemade Salsa and Chips – simple, easy to make both, packed with healthy vegetables and leftovers can be used for days to add pizzazz to most meals!

Hummus & Vegetable Wraps – take several of your favorite tortillas, spead generously with hummus, add your favorite cheese and sautéed or fresh vegies! We love to add onions, green, red and orange peppers, sprouts and sometimes pine nuts! Roll them up, then cut them in 4s and lay them out. They will be gone before you know it!

For drinks this season we have been in love with Arbonne’s Fizz Sticks. They come in so many flavors, mix nicely with your favorite vodka or rum and are such an amazing healthy, conscious alternative to sodas and juices. They are a great pick me up in the morning as well, filled with vitamins and minerals. If you haven’t yet, get some and try them here!
