Believe it or not, toothpaste can be a tricky thing for kids. Toothpaste can cause behavioral problems in kids, rashes or be just plain nasty tasting.

I had a first-hand experience with a friend’s child who once they switched off toothpaste with SLS, artificial colors and ingredients in it, the child’s bad attitude and disruptive behavior stopped within 2 weeks. So I know how important these product decisions can be.

I have always used a natural toothpaste for my children, but have not been overly thrilled with the options out there. When the Natural Dentist contacted me to review their new line of children’s toothpaste, I was so hopeful that finally somebody had come out with a delicious and healthy line of children’s toothpaste.

But does this natural toothpaste really work?

I was very pleased to see the toothpaste arrived in minimal packaging promptly from Amazon in perfect condition.

The second thing I was very pleased to see was that this gel toothpaste is clear with a pleasant odor. That means no artificial colors – a big benefit!

The third thing I was happy to see were the smiles from my kids as they tried each flavor! A success! They liked it so much they even gave me NO trouble when I asked them to brush before school (which normally is a fight!). They asked if they could use the new toothpaste and ran up and brushed on their own!!

The shape of the bottle fits perfectly into both little and big hands. The bottle itself is well made, the top is firm but workable and the container is strong.

This toothpaste gets 2 thumbs up for me and will become what I recommend to friends in the future. Between the great tastes, the all-natural ingredients and an easy to use tube – this stuff rocks!!
