A Younique Review

Mascara is one thing that I absolutely never leave the house without. I can go without everything else, but I need my mascara!

I am always on the lookout for a good mascara that can make my lashes look lusher, longer and lovelier! I had heard about Younique Mascara, but I had never known anyone who tried it and did not fully understand how it worked or what it really is.

When Cindy of Fancygirlmascara.com contacted me to try Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes, I was intrigued. After some research, I found that I liked the Younique process:

“Our mascara is different, let me show you” she begins and pulls out what looks like this black eyeglass case.

She flips it open and inside are two sleek looking tubes.

There are 3 steps to fabulous, long, lush lashes with Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes. You will want to complete all 3 steps on one eye at a time. First use the Transplanting Gel, pictured below, generously on your lashes. This is what the fibers will stick too.

Next you will use the Natural Fibers tube and put them on – you are gonna be so shocked, I was! They really lengthen and thicken your lashes. This step can be a bit messy so I recommend that you apply slowly so as not to get in your eyes.

Lastly you will do a top coat of the Transplanting Gel to really lock on the fibers and you are done!

I was shocked at how much fuller my lashes looked! Cindy also gave me some samples of their cream eye shadow – shown in the first pic. It went on super smooth and lasted for the whole evening – I love this stuff!

A friend of mine spent $95 having her lashes tinted (and it only lasted her 2 weeks…). I compared my lashes with the Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes on to hers with the tint – Younique lashes won hands down. And at only $29, which should last for two months, it is a bargain!

The Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes are water resistant yet come off super easy with eye make-up remover. When you realize what this mascara does, you will see it is reasonably priced at $29 and should last you at least 60 days. I will post an update as to how long I was able to use mine for.
