Help – My Body is Jiggly!

The month of October was seriously bad to my butt!

Oh how I claim to hate the Halloween candy until 9pm when I secretly love it. Kids are asleep, a show goes on, wine gets poured and one Halloween small sized candy bar from a bag becomes two bars, then the third bar because after all they are just tiny little bars, right? The next thing I knew, most of the bag was gone (oops, the wine too, wait – do they cancel each other out since it has been suggested that wine equals a workout? A..n..d.. my butt says NO) and there was still 15 minutes left of the show…!!!

Thankfully (pun intended) it is November, no more Halloween candy!! The damage however, has already been done.

With a giant holiday meal (and lots of pies and party food) in my near future, I knew I needed to get some help.

So I enlisted the help of the amazing personal trainer Aime, The Butt Babe, to get my butt back into shape, keep it there and to share the experience with you!

Together we have come up with:

The 12 Weeks to a Flawless Fanny, How to Get Through the Holiday Looking and Feeling Fantastic.

In our initial interview we first set some goals.

  • Tone and shape my butt and lower abdomen in the next 12 weeks.
  • Create some definition in my uppers thighs.
  • Keep it all looking good!

The Butt Babe then asked me about my eating habits and she gave me a few guidelines.

  • Cut out sugar and limit the alcohol (Ok, she did say to cut out the booze and most of it I can. But wine? I can only promise to limit the wine!!)
  • Eat smaller portions 5-6 times a day.
  • Consume more protein, 1 gram per pound of your body weight is how you calculate how much you need.
  • Go wild with the leafy greens. Eat as much as you can!
  • Have plenty of Complex carbs, things like jasmine rice, oats, sweet potatoes are all great choices.

She has emailed me a diet to follow and I will share tips weekly from that. Aime then discussed with me how much she would like to see me exercise.

  • Every other day I am going to do a set of 4 exercises, 15x each and repeat it 3x for a total of 4 sets. Each week Aime will instruct me on a new sequence and I will share that here on the site each Wednesday for my viewers to join us!
  • On the off days I will do some yoga or take a long walk outside.

Since Malibu is so gorgeous, we have decided to workout at different locations each week to help keep me (and you!) motivated.

With this Wednesday being the day before a giant Thanksgiving meal, I thought it the perfect time to do our first workout. I hope you will come to the site and join us on the 12 Weeks to a Flawless Fanny journey premiering this Wednesday November 26th at 7am on Malibu Mama Loves YouTube channel!
