Trend Alert: Loafers are back!

I can remember my first pair of penny loafers bought by my grandmother for me. She excitedly gave me two shiny pennies to put right in there!

I can also remember putting them on and how stiff and uncomfortable they were! But we had to have our loafers for school. They were not my favorite to say the least!

So I was hesitant when they recently made a comeback on ALL of the fashion runways.

I decided to go to the experts to find out why. On a recent trip to London, I stopped into Russell & Bromley (the UK’s leading luxury British footwear and handbag brand).

I am shocked to report they have some amazing loafers in there right now! And I have to say, loafers have come a long, long way!

Wow! They are soft, they are comfortable and most importantly – some of them are super gorgeous!!

Here is one of the displays of loafers, what a great selection they have.

The two pairs pictured at the top of this post are the ones that HAD to come home with me! They are perfect for around town!

Check out these amazing boots too – I couldn’t resist! I can’t wait to rock them at Nobu in Malibu soon!
