We’ve talked about the power of holistic healing before, but I still get asked all the time what exactly is holistic medicine and why is everyone talking about it?

So I tell them the truth – holistic medicine is about getting to the root of the health problem creating ultimate wellbeing, while western medicine is about treating each symptom alone and without concern of what else is going on within.

Holistic healing is an approach to health and wellness that considers the whole person – body, mind, spirit, and emotions – in the pursuit of optimal well-being. It recognizes the interconnectedness of all aspects of an individual’s life, that trauma can create physical dis-ease in the body. Holistic healers aim to restore balance and harmony within to promote healing.

At its core, holistic healing emphasizes the importance of treating the root causes of illness rather than just addressing symptoms. It recognizes that physical ailments often have underlying emotional, psychological, or spiritual components that must be addressed for true healing to occur. By taking a comprehensive approach to health and wellness, holistic healing seeks to empower individuals to take an active role in their own healing journey and make informed decisions about their health.

How Holistic Medicine Can Be Life Changing
