A Fiji Giveaway at The Great Big Play Day

Last fall, hubby and I had the incredible opportunity to visit Fiji.

It was everything that I had hoped and dreamed it would be, yet nothing that I expected it to be!!

Fiji is a group of 333 Islands located in the South Pacific. It takes an overnight flight from LAX to get there. You leave LAX at about 10 pm and arrive in Nadi, Fiji 1 day later in the morning, rested and ready for adventure.

We stayed in a Floating Bure at The Koro Sun Resort in Savusavu and had the most amazing time. A Floating Bure is unique to The Koro Sun Resort and is so much fun to stay at. It is a room, attached to a dock that simply floats. This room rises and falls with the tide and rocks gently with the waves.

The local people we met were genuinely happy and truly wanted to us to enjoy our time in Fiji. The food was great, all fresh and local. The Fiji lifestyle is a great example of a sustainable life, they grow all of their own food and the chef’s at Koro Sun are skilled at making good, seasonal dishes.

The activities are endless at the Koro Sun Resort. Their staff knows the island inside and out and will take great care of you while on an excursion. Whether you want to go Kayaking, hiking in the rainforest, waterfall swimming, scuba diving or into town, the staff at the Koro Sun Resort are there to make it happen for you!
