It really is not as bad as it sounds. There are so many benefits to traveling with your children that whether you are packing them up in the car or braving the airport – it is worth all of the effort.
I hope that you have read Part 1 and have begun to think about a destination that you have always wanted to go too. Then I hope you took the next step with Part 2 and began googling about that location.

Today I want to share Part 3,
The next 3 Reasons to Travel With Your Children
7th Reason to Travel With Your Children
You will make new friends. Ever heard the phrase ‘Reach out and touch someone?’ Well travel really makes that possible! It is good to have friends in far away and high places!! Children are experts on making friends! Becoming friends with people in other cultures gives you a unique look into that culture as well as a sense of global belonging.
8th Reason to Travel With Your Children
The Cultural Diversity. People who live in different areas have different hardships to work through and figure out. They interact differently, worship, dance and have fun differently. By exposing our children to these differences they learn to expand their thinking on day to day life and they strengthen their problem solving abilities. We also learn to view the world with much more acceptance, understanding and love.
9th Reason to Travel With Your Children
The Food! This is my hubby’s favorite reason! All of the world’s regions have unique food in which the locals to that region have figured out how to prepare in the most delicious of ways! Trying new foods when out on an adventure is a big part to really getting to know the local life. Trying new foods can be an adventure on its own which will help break even the pickiest of eaters. If you have a picky child, let them see how much fun you have trying a new food in a new country/state and see what happens. Eating is a great time for laughing, connecting and learning so be sure to take advantage of the local cuisine when traveling.
Now that you have come this far, I hope you are starting to think it IS possible to travel with your children!
I’m sure you have come up with a destination and even started to check into that location. Now let’s pick a date and call a resort today to find out their availability!
You will be so glad you did!
I will be releasing the conclusion to this series tomorrow, for #TravelTuesday. So be on the lookout for it!
