I had never seen them before. I asked if I could try one and the farmer was very kind and pointed to sample plate he had out!! Oops, I should have looked first!!
They were definitely a bit more sour than red raspberries, but delicious all the same! Of course we bought some!
What are Yellow Raspberries?
Yellow Raspberries are the hybrid result of many different types of raspberries being bred together. There are numerous varieties found in places ranging from Korea to the USA.
They are generally available spring, summer and fall. However, they are softer than the red version so they do not travel well at all. That has made them more of a farmer’s market berry.
I may try to grow some, according to this HomeGuides, it does not look too hard.
What Do You Eat With Yellow Raspberries?
Anything you would use/eat red raspberries for! I mixed them into our yogurt this morning! Delish!

I have not seen yellow raspberries in my local farmers market but every week I buy the red ones. My husband and I just love them, they are so delicious. I will keep watching for yellow ones and will try them if I see them.
