Recently my family and I stayed at The Pines Resort on Bass Lake. One of the perks to staying at this resort is that the Pines Marina is the home to Bass Lake Watersports โ€“ a full boat rental company.

Being that I am a huge water person, there was no way that I was going to let this opportunity to cruise pass!

About Bass Lake Watersports

Bass Lake Watersports is family owned and operated and has been in business for 20 years โ€“ so I felt completely safe under their instruction.

Our Experience with Bass Lake Watersports

Bass Lake Watersports partnered with us to share this post, so I got to speak with all of the staff on hand that day as well as the owner.

We entered the shop and were greeted with chill Reggae music and smiling staff. The owner came up and started chatting with us. He listened to what we like to do then advised us on all of the best parts of Bass Lake. We decided to use a pontoon boat with a grill on it and to bring a tube along with us.

An employee walked us down the dock to the boat and took the time to explain the boat, the rules, how the grill works, and how to tie off the tube on the stern.

And then we took off!!

The boat was clean, cared for and super easy to drive (probably from the awesome instructions we had been given).

We cruised the lake a few times. My kids had never been tubing before and were hot to trot to try it so before long we let the tube out and got the kids on there.

SO. MUCH. FUN.

When they were finished, we found a little spot, dropped anchor and lit up the grill! We also did a little fishing while eating and caught a tiny pumpkin fish (which we threw back in) โ€“ but to the kids it was huge and exciting!

Afterwards, the kids and I did a bit more tubing and as the sun was setting we headed back in to the marina to call it a day!

And what a magnificent day it was!
