We attended opening night of The Let It Snow Event at The Four Seasons Westlake this year. It is the second year going for us and is one of our favorite new family holiday traditions.

My children’s faces lit up when we were greeted by Minions who wanted to dance with them!

Then it started snowing – YES snowing in Southern California – and Rudolf came to dance!

We met with Santa and took lots of lovely photos!

Then we rode on a train and received quite a surprise from the grinch – who it turns out really did learn his lesson and likes to give nice gifts now…!!!

We made smores and drank hot chocolate!

Then we decorated delicious cookies with Mrs. Claus and her helpers.

We ice skated until we could do it no more!

When we were hungry, we went in for a delicious dinner at Mercato Italiano. On Fridays and Saturdays the Four Seasons brings a taste of Italy right to us. They turn the lobby restaurant into an Italian buffet style market. The atmosphere is family friendly, the food is outstanding and the wine is fantastic!
