Conscious Living: 20 Reasons to be Thankful in November 2018

One of my favorite months of the year, November is here! In the US we celebrate Thanksgiving in November. It may not have started off as what it is today, but I love what it is all about now.

Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful for all that we have – friends, family, food, community…

There is just so much to celebrate that I like to spread it out for the whole month, starting today!!

So let’s kick off the month of Thanksgiving – November – by sharing

20 Reasons To Be Thankful In November 2018

  1. My family. They have lifted me up, they have caught me, they have laughed with me and they have cried with me. I am blessed and deeply thankful to have them.
  2. My children. Yes, I know they are part of family, but they are my lights and deserve a special mention. I am soooo thankful for my children.
  3. My friends. They show up when I don’t expect them to but really need them, they laugh, cry and play with me and they just seem to make everything better.
  4. My Health. Without this we have nothing and I feel so thankful to be healthy.
  5. Life. I am thankful each morning I get to wake up, healthy, again. This life is an amazing ride and I am thankful to be part of it.
  6. My community. I am thankful to be part of an ever growing conscious community of people who are joining together to make this world a better place.
  7. Progress. I am thankful that I live in a time where there is running water, electricity, cars, grocery stores and farmer’s markets where we can easily access a multitude of amazing things.
  8. Mother Nature. For all of the beauty she provides us with, in so many different ways, I am grateful.
  9. The hunger to learn and grow. I am thankful that I am a curious person and constantly learning new things. I am thankful that there is so much out there for me to learn!
  10. The ability to laugh. Laughing is indeed a gift and I am so thankful that I have the ability to laugh easily and deeply no matter what life hands me.
  11. My mistakes. Yup, you read that right. I am thankful for my mistakes. Because I never really fail, I just learn a very valuable lesson and try again a different way. I’m glad for my mistakes and the pain they have caused me because they have only made me stronger and a better person.
  12. Living in a country with so much freedom. I am very thankful to have been born in a country with as much freedom as we have here. Our way of life is a blessing.
  13. I am thankful that I have hope. In good times and bad, I always have hope that things will be right. Share the love and pin this: Conscious living: 20 Reasons to be Thankful in November 2018
  14. Love. It is messy, it is hard, but it is knee-shakingly brilliant, isn’t it. I am thankful to know love.
  15. Technology. The truth is it does make all of our lives easier and I am thankful for the ever evolving thing called technology.
  16. Travel. I am so thankful to live in a time when travel is so easy and remote places of the world are now accessible.
  17. My bed. I love my bed and I am so thankful that bedding has evolved into what we have now!
  18. My senses. Feeling is what it is all about. Tasting, smelling, hearing, touching, seeing all bring us so much pleasure. I am thankful for each one.
  19. Art. Whether I am decorating or creating, I am so thankful for art and people’s freedom and ability to share art with each other.
  20. My challenges. There is nothing that will get your excitement going like a good challenge! I am thankful for all of the challenges life puts in my way, and how good it feels when I overcome them.
