The Best Time to go to Fiji
Welcome to the second post in my #FijiHappy series! Yes, I am headed to Fiji soon and you get to experience the whole thing with me which will help you plan your trip to Fiji!
The first step was checking out the magical resorts who are sponsoring us to go there – Koro Sun Resort, The Intercontinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa and the Matangi Private Island Resort. 3 special places with breathtaking beauty and endless activities for all.
Today we are going to decide when the best time to go to Fiji is.
After all of my research, the best time to go to Fiji is, honestly, ANY TIME YOU CAN!!
But here are some things to consider when deciding what the best time for you to go to Fiji is.
- Fiji has a moderate, tropical climate with temperatures that stay pretty much in the 80’s all year long – you can the current weather here. They do have a wet season, from November to April tropical storms are a definite possibility!
Here is a simple chart to show you the average monthly temperatures and rainfall amounts.
- Fiji’s busy season. July and August are their 2 most busiest months, with June – September being their peak season. This is winter time for Australia and New Zealand and people flock to Fiji in search of warmth and relaxation! Rates for everything will be at their highest and Fiji will be crowded but GORGEOUS. - May & October are considered to be Fiji’s shoulder months. I am told these months are some of the best times to go to Fiji as the weather is amazing and Fiji is a little less crowded. You will also find great deals for travel during this time.
Since I already had the resorts picked, by this point I have checked out which activities the resorts offer that we would be interested in, had a look at the weather patterns and figured out their peak seasons. So with all of this in mind I am ready to decide when the best time to go to Fiji for my family is…
The last week of September, the first week of October! When do you want to go?
